At Collegiate Sixth Form, you commit to becoming the best version of you. You will power beyond academic achievement as we support you to become an eminently employable adult with all the tools that you need to make the most of life. We have worked closely with local universities and a range of local and international companies to create our unique Future Leaders programme. It transcends subject learning and, in informally guided sessions, you can hone the skills needed to step out into the world with confidence. As part of that holistic training, you will take on responsibilities to enrich both your experience and that of the wider school community.
Organising house events, hosting clubs, volunteering in the local community, going on residential trips such as our annual induction trip to the Isle of Purbeck or representing the school in sport give you transferable skills and strong self-awareness to carry with you to university and beyond. To add value to our exceptional academic programme of A levels, BTECs and CTECs (and we are the only school in the Bristol area with such a variety) you will benefit from:
- Two hours a week of formal employability skills training and preparation for life beyond Collegiate via the Future Leaders programme
- Optional top-up courses including the Extended Project Qualifications (EPQ), A-Level Further Maths or an AS in a modern foreign language
Whether you join Collegiate Sixth Form from another school or are on the next step of your Collegiate journey, you enter the Year 12 induction programme as equals. Together, on our carefully designed programme, we prepare you to face ably the challenges of this more independent period of study.
