Partnerships with Home

Clear and regular communication is key for a strong partnership between school and home.

To keep parents up to date on progress, we have
several formal check-ins during the year:

• Written reports with detailed commentary on progress. 
• Assessment grids focussing on key aspects of learning. 
• Parents' Evenings to discuss both pastoral and academic progress. 

We also host information evenings to help parents support students on their academic journey. 

Using a combination of national data and our knowledge of each child, we set ambitious targets to help them achieve their very best. 

Tests, presentations and our regular marking of homework help us to understand how they can improve their learning. 

From Year 10, students sit mock exams each term to fully prepare them for their external examinations.
