Beyond the Classroom

We believe that teaching should not be confined to the classroom.

We are very proud to offer extra-curricular clubs, which are run at lunchtime and after school with some catering for leisure interests, while the rest providing further opportunities which help children on their educational journey.

Some of the clubs and workshops offered include Chess, Choir, Music and Dance, Beading, Art, Cooking, ICT, as well as many sporting opportunities. Most of our clubs and activities are free however if a particular club involves the services of a tutor from outside school there will be a fee.

Collegiate School understands that busy family lives require flexibility. Our school is delighted to offer early morning drop-off with breakfast or after school care each day. Refreshing, new activities ensure the end of the regular day is marked by relaxed enjoyment in a caring atmosphere. Throughout the day, children experience our pastoral care and learning support - both core parts of our school ensuring all children develop mutual respect and tolerance.

Your child will learn in small classes meaning they are afforded additional attention by our skilled team of teachers and assistants.

Success and achievement are recognised and rewarded, and children develop a core inner confidence in preparation for their transition to senior school.
